Eckert is employee owned, with Will Eckert being the principal shareholder. He purchased the business in 1998 from his father Travis A. Eckert, and has since awarded stock to his deserving staff. Both Eckerts are past presidents of the Independent Insurance Agents of Austin, and both have served on numerous Austin community boards.
